- User Disputes
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and site visitors. Legal.com reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between yourself and other users. Legal.com may, in its sole discretion, take action against any visitor, site user or account holder including, without limitation, denying access, suspending or terminating an account.
- User Submissions and Communications; Public Areas:
You acknowledge that you possess appropriate intellectual property rights to any content that you post; that to your reasonable belief the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use, is not intentionally misleading and is not likely to result in injury or harm, whether physical, emotional or economic, to any person or entity; and that you indemnify Legal.com and its visitors, users, members, advertisers and affiliates against any and all claims which may arise from content that you post or otherwise provide for publication at Legal.com.
If you make any submission to an area of the site accessed or accessible by the public (“Public Area”) or if you submit any business information, idea, concept or invention to Legal.com via any form of communication or transmission, you automatically represent and warrant that you are authorized to grant, and expressly grant to Legal.com a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, create derivative works from, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform, and display the communication or content in any media or medium, or any form, format, or forum now known or hereafter developed. Legal.com may sublicense its rights through multiple tiers of sublicenses. If you wish to keep any business information, ideas, concepts or inventions private or proprietary, then you must not submit them to the Public Areas or via unsolicited email or other form of communication or transmission.
Some of the Public Areas of Legal.com permit real-time posting of user-contributed content. Although Legal.com does not moderate the Public Areas, it reserves the right to modify or remove user-contributed content for any purpose and at any time, with or without notice to the contributor. Said editing or removal shall be at Legal.com’s sole discretion, in real time and final without opportunity for appeal or review.
In its normal maintenance of the site including the Public Areas, Legal.com may (but is not obligated to) take any or all of the following action(s):
- Record the dialogue in public chat rooms.
- Examine an allegation that a communication(s) do(es) not conform to the terms of this section and determine in its sole discretion to remove or request the removal of the communication(s).
- Remove communications that are abusive, illegal, or disruptive, or that otherwise fail to conform to these Terms of Use.
- Suspend or terminate a Member’s access to any or all Public Areas and/or the entire site.
- Monitor, store, edit, or disclose any communication or transmission submitted to the site.
